Job Application Letter and CV
Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog. How are you doing? I'm doing fine. Today, I like to share my impressions of making a job application letter and CV in English class several days ago. We also did a job interview simulation, but I'll clarify the detail later in the next blog.
First, we searched for a job vacancy on the internet. Once we found it, we sent it to our teacher, Mr. Achdi to get it approved. The job vacancy must not be expired, the work experience requirements must be equal to or less than 3 years.
Long story short, I get my job vacancy approved and started to write my job application letter. I applied as an Architectural Technologist in Ireland. I was so confused to make the job application letter rational. Here's the thing, I am Indonesian that graduated from a University somewhere in Ireland, previously worked at this company in Ireland, BUT my address pointed that I live in Indonesia (?) But somehow I managed to ignore that odd situation. yes, I ignore it. That was the best solution *laugh awkwardly.
After I finished the job application letter, I started to make a CV using canva.com. I concluded that CV must contain work experiences, academic history, contact, achievements, and skills. I also tried to make it neat and interesting to urge the employer to read my CV. I added my tasks at the previous company in the work experience column. I hope my English skill develops well by learning in Mr. Achdi's English class. I attached my job application letter and CV below. I would be delighted if you are willing to criticize my work. See you later!
Cool!
